The Asia-Pacific Decade
APAC Region
The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, the world’s most dynamic economic engine and home to over 60% of the global population, presents an indispensable but complex landscape for long-term corporate strategy, blending mature economies with high-growth markets like India, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
While China remains the central anchor, accounting for nearly 40% of regional GDP as a production and consumer juggernaut, its slowing growth and regulatory shifts necessitate a dual approach: capturing opportunities in its leading innovation ecosystems while strategically diversifying through “China+” initiatives. This pivot has propelled Southeast Asia and India into focus, fueled by ASEAN’s collective rise, unprecedented digital adoption, and deepening regional integration via trade pacts like RCEP.
Critically, APAC’s economic promise is inextricably linked to its geopolitical volatility, demanding that companies proactively build geo-economic resilience into their core strategies by diversifying political risk, mapping supply chains onto alliance networks, and recognizing that market access is increasingly dictated by diplomatic imperatives.
Navigating this mosaic of interconnected growth stories requires a sophisticated, adaptive, and politically informed approach to unlock sustainable competitive advantage.
In the APAC region, we cover the following geographies:
- Thailand
- Vietnam
- Singapore + Malaysia
- Indonesia
- India
